Oh Dear Goddess, what path are we on?
It looks so lovely, simple and clear….
Where
Where will it take us….
Greta says
ACT
Like your house is burning down!
Because it is.
Yet
We stroll through green forests, delight in the streams
We still find food at the grocery store.
The switch on the wall still lights up the warm cozy room
We haven’t noticed that the house has already burned down.
Cremated
World
Culture
Species
And more species
And More
Cremated
The future
Ashes and dirty socks and…..
and….
and…..
I can not put my hope in stopping the burning….
Sometimes the firefighters arrive and it is just too late to save it….
Then what?
Tell me Phoenix,
We need to know what you know
about burning,
about ashes,
about rising again….
Slow, tender, one feather at a time…
You think you know phoenix?
You don’t.
Open your heart wide!
Wider….
What rises from the ashes will look
But look nothing like anything
that was before.
Woven together with hope and regret,
With lessons learned
Dear Goddess, I pray,
lessons learned…
It begins from ashes and old roots,
but the becoming
will become
What has never been before
Life doesn’t die,
it changes….
